Establishment of the Temple ‘Siriniwasaramaya’

                                                  Duiringnin teen thirty decade few families lived together in asmall villege called ‘Agalekumbura’.

    2.                  After  1994….. The time Durakande sirinanda thero  decided to stay in the temple in view of  teaching  the noble doctrine of the Lord Budha as well as to develop the temple to protect objects it worship for the future genarastion  The honorable thero is able to streg them the mank relationship between the temple as surrounding villegs As a result development the temple is in progress since 1994.                                            The ppres development of the temple is achiered by collecting funding trorry villages any from government are not received to reinstatethe temple. The noble will power of the thero and villeges and the enthusiasm clear  the path to improvestrucures in the temple                             The most villages are tarrmors these poor innerecent villages give their corporation as possible as they can to raise tumds The Durakande sirinanda thereWalked Throrghout surround villages to collect donations from each house A resindome for the monk colled ‘sangawasa’ was built which is valued more than  several lacs by using collected donations
    3.                                   After several years later,Sirinanda thero started to improve  ‘Budugeya’ which comprissis 28 stats to commemorate late card Budhas in lived in the world.The Budugeya was re built as the third stage development.As the nwxt stage a new building is being built to provide the ‘Simamalakaya’and library.The Simamalakaya is to carry out discipilinary activities mentronned in ‘Vinaya pitakaya’.Villegers always opened door for the honanable  thero.Since the ultimate benitits are received by villegers them selevs to develop their spiritual life .All villagers are not relucted to assist religicus  activities in the temple when ever required  The ‘Dagaba’ is one of the main object of worship in a temple . But the Agalekumbura Sirinivasaramaya obesn’t have aDagaba to worship                        At present The Dagaba construction work can not be started due to lack of funds  As a budhist it is qreatful of you can  donate for the sake of constnetion of Dagaba
